Laphroaig 1997 Whisky Oak Charcuterie Serving Board
Sometimes we are lucky enough to get an entire cask that is distillery specific. This means we are able to offer beautiful boards like these with the details of their provenance.
The oak for this board comes from a cask used by Laphroaig distillery for ageing their single malt. The staves have been very carefully cleaned and put together so the “edge” grain is on show, keeping the natural curve of the stave. You can elect to have the board etched (bottom right corner) with the cask details also:

Board care: All boards are treated with a food safe oil. Before the first use, hand wash with warm soapy water & dry with a clean kitchen towel.
To ensure you get plenty of life out of your board, here’s some tips on how to keep it in great condition:
Do not leave food on the board overnight
Always store on it’s side to avoid any bowing
Do not put in the dishwasher
Wash with warm soapy water after use, rinse thoroughly & let air dry
Our boards are all treated with 100% eco and food safe oil. If you follow the care instructions, the current treatment will last for up to 24 months. From there simply treat with any food grade mineral oil.
